Top Sail Hill State Park

Top Sail Hill Preserve State Park has 3 1/2 miles of pristine white quartz sandy beach with over 1,643 acres of unique habitats, including coastal dune lakes, cypress domes, and wet prairies.

Portuguese Man o' War - DANGER!

The park has a lot of longleaf pines that were tapped for
turpentine production "back in the day". Large scars where the trees were cut for tapping can be seen on some trees. The grasshopper just jumped into the photo!

An example of a coastal dune lake

Some of Topsail State Park's flowers. George has been telling me there have been lots of request for them!?

Mystery Photo #2 ... any guesses?
