West Palm Beach

Left Sebastian Inlet heading south toward the Everglades, staying a couple of days at a Palm Beach County Park Campground. A nice park in a rather built up suburban area, a little different than the type of places we have been staying. First a few pictures from around Pelican Island NWR

Part of the boardwalk at the Centennial Trail listing all 560 wildlife refuges in the US starting with Pelican Island in 1903 on engraved planks. There are four in Rhode Island.

The nose of a manatee. The best shot I could get.

The last sunset at the inlet.

Today we met up with Richard and Leanne Croft from North Farm and Boynton Beach.
They took us to Green Cay Nature Center & Wetlands, a fantastic spot with an extensive boardwalk around the wetlands - a perfect place for wildlife viewing. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera. But here's a cellphone photo of the four of us.
